Edward hears about this and goes to be with Carter. The cancer has spread to Carter's brain. He undergoes surgery that is unsuccessful and he dies. Edward finishes the bucket list without Carter and dies many years later at 81.

This movie relates to our class and Chapter 11, Stress and Health. This movie is obviously related to health because both of the main characters, Carter and Edward, are both diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. This movie deals with the stress they have because they both know they will die from the lung cancer. A way of coping with the stress they make a bucket list of all the things they want to do before they die and they actually accomplish everything on the list.

  1. I have heard about this movie but I have never seen it, sounds really entertaining yet sad. I think we all have a list of things that we would like to do before death but unless otherwised provoced we will not attempt these things. Stress is a crazy thing that affects us all in some way or fashion and we all need to deal with it whether we want to or not. Finding a release is key to our health even if like in the movie we believe we are on a "deadline", we just simply don't know. Edward happened to live until 81 where he wasn't supposed too.

    Jacques.
